Natalie Perr
Natalie Perr has over 30 years of experience as an executive in women's apparel. Color and trend forecasting, line planning, creative merchandising, textile research and development, product development, sourcing and the ability to manage all these aspects to timely hit and penetrate the market, confirm the true expertise and value Natalie brings to a brand.
Natalie was Design Director of Jones New York where she played a key role in establishing that brand in the better sportswear market. As Design VP at Macy Corporate, she built a large part of the private label organization. In addition, she launched and managed Per Sé, a successful Bridge-priced, related separates business targeted to the specialty store market.
Ms. Perr has demonstrated time and again, her ability to forecast trends and introduce product to be ahead of time and ride the crest of fashion ebbs and flows. Her ability to understand the market and develop products that meet the market, have allowed her to create, maintain and grow brand awareness and loyalty for the many manufacturers she has worked with over the years.
Ms. Perr currently maintains an active consulting practice to companies in the apparel industry in areas such as fabric research and development; trend and color forecasting, line conceptualization; and re-direction of merchandise focus. She has clients in the US, Europe, and Asia.
Ms. Perr was a Member of the Advisory Committee of the Color Association of the United States for 15 years, which predicts color trends for the apparel industry, 2 years in advance. Her color forecasting work was featured in a fashion textbook published by Fairchild Publications, Understanding Aesthetics for the Merchandising and Design Professional" by Anne Marie Fiore and Patricia Anne Kimle.
